What is the difference between us and the rest of the living world?
The Rule,
is being able to find an agreement between parties.
It is the eternal attempt: to establish where the Truth is, where it lodges the right thing to do, the right thing to say,
and the right path to take.
And this is the advice I give to younger people: when you are in doubt, be inspired by what makes others feel good, what is right to give up so that your “other” is happy.
No matter if this is not an obligation, if the law that prescribes it has not yet been written, look deep into your heart, made of grapes, rain, sun, time, what is good for others.
It is the only law that keeps my head straight, without having or wanting to be on everyone’s tables at all costs.
I come from a history of nobility, from Roman legions who had the strength of their army in loyalty.
